Our Dad, Dave Benson, was something of a legend in his time. He was born in Warren County, Indiana in 1925 and lived his entire life there in the town of Independence. He was a farmer most of his life. He was also a county trustee, county councilman, an active Mason, and a Pine Village Lion's Club member.
None of us were prepared for his early passing at age 74 in October 1999. We all miss him very much.
